Summer Threads Series - Tank Tops Are Suddenly Cool Again? OK I'm Cool With That

So I'm not sure why but I guess tank tops are cool this year more than others? At least in So Cal. I feel like this year Summer itself, as a concept, is cool and on people's minds in relation to fashion. I don't mean like people are getting ready for summerwear.
